Caltex Delo Wasi – HDEO Consumer Promo 2024 (“Promotion”) – Terms & Conditions

1. This Promotion is valid from 26^th August to 24^th September 2024 (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).

2. End consumers of Caltex Delo 6L engine oil in Sri Lanka during the Promotion Period (“Participants”) are eligible to participate in the Promotion. Participants must be Sri Lankan nationals and cannot be an employee of Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC (“Chevron”), Chevron’s advertising or activation agencies or their family members of such employees.

3. To join the Promotion, Participants will have to scratch the sticker placed on the back of the can to reveal the unique secret code (“Code”) and send the Code as a SMS to [2343] (“Hotline”). Once a valid Code is received, an instant reply message will be sent to the Participant.

4. Participants are allowed to use any mobile network in Sri Lanka to send the secret code to the Hotline. Any and all charges associated with sending the secret code shall be borne solely by the Participant.

5. Each valid Code represents one (1) entry for the raffle draw during the Promotion Period. Chevron reserves the right to reject or accept any entry.

6. During the Promotion Period, 10 winners will be randomly selected per day and each winner will receive a digital fuel card with stored value that will enable a winner to purchase up to 100 Liters of Auto Diesel or a volume which is equivalent to LKR 31,700 (“Prize”) (whichever is reached first). Chevron will, through an authorized call center, contact winners with details on how to collect the Prize and/or to verify any required details before issuing the Prize.

7. The digital fuel card shall be valid for use for a period of three (3) months from 24^th September 2024 at any NFC card enabled fuel station in Sri Lanka.

8. The Prizes, promotional in nature, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

9. This Promotion is subject to compliance with US export control and trade sanctions laws. For the avoidance of doubt, Chevron reserves the right to exclude or disqualify any Participant or otherwise rescind/withhold a Prize awarded to a person who is subject to economic sanctions or any trade restrictions imposed by the U.S. government; debarred or excluded or declared ineligible to participate in U.S. government contracts, or contracts, grants, or other programs financed in whole or part by the U.S. government; or listed on any applicable government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Chevron shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with such exclusion or disqualification.
10. If any Participant does not meet the eligibility requirements or is subject to any restrictions, as may be determined by Chevron, the Participant will not be entitled to a Prize in any circumstances.

11. Chevron’s decision will be final in relation to any dispute or issue (including the eligibility of any customer) relating to the Promotion. Chevron will not enter into any correspondence or communication with any party in relation to such decisions, except for the dedicated technical hotline for any queries at the time of re-fueling.

12. Chevron reserves the right to cancel the Promotion entirely and/or change the terms and conditions, the Prizes, the Promotion mechanics or rules in its sole discretion at any time without liability or prior notice.

13. Chevron, its affiliate companies, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will not be held responsible or liable for any personal injury or damage to property caused by the Prizes and shall be indemnified by the Participant against any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to any person, including death, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance or use of the Prize(s). Chevron shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever in the event of any complaint, dispute, damage or defect arising in respect of any of the Prizes.

14. By participating in this Promotion, you consent to the collection and processing of the personal data you provide and Chevron reserves the right to use the data collected through this Promotion for future promotional activities.

Privacy Notice

Chevron Lanka Lubricants PLC may ask you to provide your personal information in order to facilitate your entry into the promotion, and if deemed a winner, to validate your identity prior to awarding a prize. The categories of information that we may collect include Your Name and Mobile Phone Number. This information may be shared with third parties operating on our behalf to facilitate the promotion. Provision of this information is purely voluntary. However, if you do not provide it, you may not be able to participate in the promotion or may not be awarded with a prize. You have the right to review and, if factually inaccurate, to correct the personal data held about you. To exercise this right, please contact our activation agency representative present at the activity venue. If you participate in this contest/promotion you will deemed to have consented to Chevron’s use/disclosure/collection of your personal data, as described in this notice.
